Definitely Fred Durst. I don't mind Billy Corgans voice, i think it suits the Smashing Pumpkins music though. You couldn't get a top class professional to sing the Pumpkins with as much expression and emotion as Billy. And same goes for Jon Davis but he is improving.

I changed the station every time their first single came on, and then realised that I'd never bothered listening to it to find out if it was actually any good. So I listened. My brain just about imploded. It's so shit that you can tell it's shit from the first 4 seconds.
I disagree with Axl Rose, he's a superb singer. Live he does have his moments though. Listen to songs like Estranged and civil war, it sounds like there's three different singers. That voice that he used on appetite is a one of a kind, I doubt anyone will ever be able to recreate it. He's totally reinvented his voice now because of A) giving up smoking and alcohol B) To prolong his vocal chords and C) Because of the new songs. Honestly Tama, go download 'The Blues' and 'Madagascar' from rock in rio to hear the superb voice he has now.
