I never liked Jacquie. There was just something about her that rubbed me up the wrong way. It was quite funny watching her and Hugh though, especially when it was obvious they'd had a bit of a disagreement or something, and they'd be all tight-lipped with each other.

For some completely inexplicable reason, she reminded me of Margaret Thatcher. Go figure.

I loved Hugh's ironic mullet, but sometimes he he had really bad moments, like the time when he said he wasn't sure if he should like Princess Superstar or not. He didn't want to like her because "Bad Babysitter" seemed really cheesy, but he thought maybe he should like her because she'd worked with a whole lot of really good artists on her albums.

Jacqui seemed really spunky and could be really rude and fun at times. Oh, I will miss her.

I like Phil. His smoky interview with Lee Scratch Perry was great. I've not seen Jo on WNTV. I hope she won't seem like a children's television presenter, because one of the best things about Space is how adult it is.

When I think "variety show", I think of magicians, ventriliquists and tap-dancing twelve year olds. Of course, I'm sure Space 2003 will be nothing like this.

I like that idea that there'll be interesting people other than musicians interviewed on the show. With Squeeze being dedicated to NZ Music, it makes sense that Space look at other type of pop culture, the sort of things that wouldn't be arty enough to make it onto an arts program. Ooh, I'm getting quite excited!

Jo Tuapawa is a very cool chick. She went to the same school as me, and has always been a very outgoing, crazy, very muscially minded girl. Everyone keeps slagging her off because she was on What Now, but guess what? Everyone has to start somewhere, and 99% of the time it's right at the bottom. At least we know she has some experience, and we're not going to be stuck with a clueless bimbo like that Amber chick from Juice.
