If this is the same Video Kid, as in the one that sings Dawnskate 88, then I would just like to say how much I admire this artist. *big teethy grin* I've only heard a small clip of that song, but it's the person behind the song that is the grooviest. Keep up the good work.
Hey hotcake, of course you can have your say but how about being a bit more constructive? What didn't you like about it? And please use the "reply to this post " link in the blue comment box when replying to someone - it helps keep the conversation ordered and easy to follow.

Man, I reckon Kid writes lovely little ditties. We've all got to remember that "there ain't no rules when your drinkin Miami Wine Cooler!" I think 'Dawn Skate 88' was probably the nadir - but hey, you can't always make every post a winner...
Kia ora Kid. Keep me chuckling...
The kids other projects are just smashing.
I was expecting more from this superstar elve.
only to find really bad songs with nothing I could grit my teeth into, except DJ girlfriend and Runnin.
Lets just say, that I saw the live gig that was great.
Then I brought the album, but i didn't dig it. Of couse 'Live' and 'in the studio' are two different sounds. I just pefer the 'live' to the 'ablum', which I want to give away. If someone wants to take it off my hands?
That seems like a reasonable position to me. I must say that I've only heard the album a handful of times - but he/they (can't forget rudi and co.) kick ass live.
I'm fond of Scene of the Crime. The live set on Active over NZ Music Month was damn fine. Stayed up past midnight to hear it, and didn't turn into a pumpkin.
Not sure if others have come across this, but the self-titled tune is on the Pet Shop Boys' contribution to the 'Back to the Mine' series of compilations.
