The new girl (whose name I can't remember, and I can't be bothered going to over to the M2 web site and have my computer contend with that damn flash animation just to find it out) is really good!
She's really energetic, but not annoyingly so, and she always has lots to say about the videos that have just played. What I didn't like so much about Renee's presenting is how she often seemed oblivious to what videos had been played (i.e. she's announce them, but seem totally uneffected by them). The new presenter, however, has done her research. And she's got different music taste to the other presenters, so she rounds out the M2 presenting team quite nicely.
(Glen is still my fave).

Yes, we've had a discussion on the M2 presenters, but our perceptions and the presenters themselves have changed through time. I have come to really like Jo's style, which is her very own and someone I was a little critical of the last time round, Renee Munday, I think has come into her own as well, I've enjoyed hearing what she has to say. The others I have always liked, especially (is it) Nick, the guy who does the electronica show, 'cos he is so absolutely into what he's doing.

Only that in having to have something for everyone, it ends up having stuff that not everyone is into. Like, for me Saturday's M2 is really dead because of Stylus (I just don't hugely enjoy that kind of music). But I'm sure there are other people who love it.
My main complaint about M2 is how they are more than prepared to play old pop music from the '80s (as part of Retro), but seldom play anything newer. But then, TV4 plays lots of pop videos, so I can get my fix there.
