We are Nosittap hear me squeak, Alt/rocky/metal kinda outfit....... Clan Patt-e-son to those in the know... have 6 track demo available for $10 or flick me a msg and I'll send you a few tracks!

You guys were way better than New ...

You guys were way better than New Damage and I thought you deserved to be put through. I mean c'mon who can't put aside a CHCH band with a reference to Spinal Tap>(Nosittap) in their name! :D

Well I have to dissagree with that ...

Well I have to dissagree with that comment. For a start, as with all these band competitions, you cant really compare one band to another because the genres (even within rock) are all so different.
But its fairly obvious why new damage got through - professionalism, stage presence, ability/talent and
crowd reaction. Im not sure if i remember which band nossitap was (which is not a good sign) but the good thing about competitions is that you can (usually) get really good feedback from the judges to help you grow as a band. I suggest nossitap do that.

I agree with you there that you shouldn't compare other bands with different styles and I know I compared Nosittap to New damage. New Damage were good and they had a more commercial sound which is what the judges always seem to go for these days to "support NZ Music and new up coming talent". But all in a bag New Damage are you're typical band that would get in and so on, and im not sure why they entered when I thought they already had been successful in it under their old Munchas Dodgy name.

Thanks for the positive Ach's and NDrocks for your honesty! lol We wont be asking the judges/bar staff as we filmed the gig and totally know what didn't go well..

Hey Ach's, we had the worst gig ever that night for several reasons... we wont go there :) I didn't actually get to see many of the other bands, but yeah :)

don't get me wrong.. we are still going to dominate the entire earth! heh

Oww... I likes this band. What a pity their site aint working [for me atleast].
Im not one to really like female vocalists (give or take a few), but I like this lil band :)
