can i add that it would be kinda nice if the new topic could stay away from the whole "zed sux" argument. nothing against arguing but the zed thing is a bit tired & weve all heard it before. so lets be positive :) or something (!?)

The one thing I like about space are the live acts/bands they have every week - not enough of it though - they fill the rest of the show with other crap which is fine if youre into interviews and watching 2 presenters giving each other the glad eye - is Jackie desperate for one or what???? not sure if Dominics up to it though ay lol!!...shame someone cant do a show along the lines of Live with Jools Holland where the WHOLE SHOW is dedicated to live stuff instead of 'token live performances' in shows like space, icetv,squeeze and the early Havoc shows In fact Mikey Havoc would be the perfect Jools Holland dont you think???...although not sure where his tastes lie these days. And as long as theres no nepotism going on theres plenty of kiwi bands that would truly kick ass on a show like that and i am damn sure there are enough of them to justify NZ on air funding a whole series of half hour shows with at least 5 to 6 bands doin a couple of their songs.....mmmmm maybe Im onto something here!! - whos with me???

have to admit space is pretty crap...everytime i look at it hoping to find somethin interesting, it's always boring as ever....and i'm still stuck with RTR....let me hear ya soul sistas...voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir? uh yeah....*bopping away mode*...who reckons that new pepsi chart thing is good?..The live shows are good but other than that its just a copy of RTR.......

while we are bagging the dicks who clog our media space and make it hard to enjoy our own culture... that guy 'bomber' on Channel Z is IMHO sincerely the worst example of a presenter/dj I have ever heard or seen. i hope he gets a higher paid job doing something he loves but somewhere far far away from the mic or camera. please please please god. am I being harsh? he really irritates me...

Questions for ya'll:
Are these music shows you're talking about all funded be the government? Do they only promote NZ music? Actually, (and excuse my ignorance), are there any commercial music shows on the tube (like MTV or VH1)? Just want to see how things differ from the music scene in the States..

ahh dust, you are soooooooooo right about bomber. the most irritating whining "host" radio has ever seen. i believe he is quite high in the z hiarchy too. scary!! if ever ive wanted to throw my radio out of the window its when i wake up to find bomber on the airwaves filling in as breakfast host, not a nice thing to hear first thing in the morning! is there anyone out there who likes him? if so tell us why.

one thing space could do to make it better (besides fire the presenters :-) ) would be to make some of their live acts play a bit more music, I was disappointed that Blindspott only played one song last week.

Best u get onto "Blindspott"...They'll get ya goin'. Check them out! I've seen them live and they rock!!
