"scully, this is no coincidence"

ok you want to know what i think is weird? how many famous bob scotts there are in this country. i know of 3, which may not seem like many but think of celebrities, none of them have the same names.

an ex mighty all black; a cartoonist; and a musician that inspires andoru.

why so many bob scotts? tell me if you know any that are especially talented or famous (and are nzers)

Forums: The Bar,

I asked bob scott from the bats where he got his guitar from at the ol' bodega a year or so ago and it was some guy.. uhh.. robert scott, no relation. ;)

Which guitar was that? Was it the black Mustang I've seen on videos?

yeah, Bob Scott the guitar maker often advertises in NZ Musician magazine. Don't know if he made the black mustang...

bob scott is the greatest.

which one though?

my bob bob scott of the clean and the bats

I searched for Bob Scott's and this is what came up

There is also Bob Scott in Kingsland, who makes custom guitars and does repairs. If you need the intonation or wiring on your guitar/bass sorted, he'll do it fucking well and cheaply. He also fixes amps and whatever other music gear is ailing. Very recommended. . .

Jimi, I have Bob Scotts excellent book "Bob Scott on Rugby". The book must be well over 50 years old but it's still great. It features black and white stills of Bob Scott demontstating how to kick goals. There are line drawings on how to sidestep. He pours scorn on those who would run with the ball in one hand and was the first rugby mind to suggest that players should practice tackling.

Now I'm looking forward to "Bob Scott on Rock"

heh heh what a crafty ol bugger. he's extensively quoted in the new book "the judas game" - things were different in my day yada yada, and he reckons he took aside carlos spencer at a urinal and gave him a talking to hahaha.

Carlos should have peed on his leg - he'd have left Bob in the dust had the tattoed Kapiti man been around in the 1800s

heh heh, well be fair, diff'rent times; diff'rent body types. but todays players are undoubtedly better in my eyes. of course i never saw the old ones.

what's funny is seeing old video of pinetree, the 'mountainous man' - he's a weenie!!! compared to our gym bunny players, the old school ones are almost comical in their appearance.

uh, wasn't that cartoonist TOM Scott"?

heh, nah theres a lesser known one

Remember, the final season of The X - Files starts at 10.25pm, Saturday 21 December 2002, TV2.

Is it as good without the Foxter? - I didn't have the heart to keep watching, but will resume if it's any good

It's more of a soap opera than thriller. Only worth watching if you can't move from the couch.
