Whoo-hoo! (Though I'm a bit late on saying this...) Glad to see you doing a solo act, and a pretty GROOVY one, at that! I'm a Black Seeds fan, of course, but after hearing these sound samples, I think I'm going to end up being a Flash Harry fan, as well. (tee-hee!) Keep it up, and we'll keep listening.
My god. Last night was rolicking good.
Started off strong with "Alright", Flash "Funk" Harry indeed. The rhythm section had the foreground of sound in the mix with fat bass and pounding drums. Things took a little dive after "Alright" until they upped the beat at bit and went more rock. The whole set culminated in "I love Lo-Fi" which was introduced as being a bit metal. Wow. The wind down of the last song "Change is good" was grooving, funk reggae dub goodness.
I should maybe check out Real Groovy this weekend then. For some reason Planet Jack didn't have it. Hah.

Anyone know where Flash Harry's name came from? As I recall Flash Harry was a character in a New Zealand Victorian melodramatic novel - a bushman who gets killed by a falling tree. If Flash Harry is named after this... RESPECT !
