Music law thingy @ the classic

no-one seems to be answering the last question, so how about this,

did anyone go to this, if so, what was it like.

i would have gone except for the fact that I live 800kms away, that and my dog ate my homework.

Forums: NZ Music,

Was pretty cool, not particularly informative BUT definitely food for thought. Perhaps some of the "Question Askers" at the end could have been a bit better informed. Lots of "Words of Warning", Kinda cool. I dispute the Fat Guys' view of mp3 and the web but then his shirt was way too cute for me to hold a grudge. My bladder could have been a little bigger I think. It's hard to pay attention when you need to urinate 4 red bulls and a coke. I think they should have asked "Now, has everybody gone wee wees before we start?" at the start. Malcolm and Campbell seemed to be the most informative from a grass roots perspective. Alot of the material drifted over the common head or was absolutely irrelevant to the careers of those in attendance. At this level most of us are not as concerned with record deals or negotiating contracts as we are with GETTING THE ATTENTION of people who do these things. I hope anyone who got a copy of the merchandise finds it useful, I guess that was really the aim of the seminar. The little stories in between were perhaps the best bits and I felt truly enlightened by the end of it.
