Couldn't get to the Pacifier gig last night as it was sold out. An empty night faced me until I heard on the radio that Rhombus was going to be at Bodega along with the P North crew Sense_. Since I'd missed their gig up here (where they had local venue Harvesters packed until 3 am on a Sunday night and drank the bar out of beer!), I had to go. Turned out it wasn't a Rhombus and Sense_ gig at all - Rhombus was down to two guys, so basically they joined forces for the evening with Sense_. You'd have thought that this was the band - they worked together seamlessly, doing each other's songs as if they'd been a four piece for ever. Heard some guy behind me mutter with derision when Jeremiah started in on the P North styles song, but once it got into the groove, the naysayer was silenced.

We had 4+ hours of solid great dance music: I am so glad I missed Pacifier. Maybe Monday I'll get theree but its suddenly not so important any more.
