Orientation gig at the bodge
Went to bodega last night for the orientation trial gig thing. About 100 people, good night with some good bands. Stylus 77, Weave, Paselode and Project all played wicked. Lets hope a couple of welly bands get the tour next year. Any one else go along?

Friggin choice night though - Good to see so many wellington bands under one roof going hard for 3 songs and then trying to get the hell off stage to let the next set of fellas on!
Really enjoyed the 'Band of Gypsies' (sic) vibe Stylus 77 had going on and AutoZaams (sic, again) frantic 'college rock' - wicked bass playin'

There were rumors that the name "Green Day" had been bandied around, but doesn't look like that will come to fruition. I'm suprized no one mentioned the alt band of the night, second to last - Pierced. They played a wicked set, and I must say, one of my more favourite local acts at the moment. Project kicked ass as usual...nice nice.
