i don't see 10 years as being a passing fad. 80's evolved into 90s pop. just as grunge has evolved into it's new form now. music hardly ever passes completetly just moves with the times.

just like the sad 80s metal flame is held aloft by 80% of the bands entering the rockquest every year.
