Shouldn't the government intervene, to promote the unexposed New Zealand bands that student radio stations (like rdu) play regularly ? I mean, hasn't the government supposedly made a commitment to promoting New Zealand music ?

It doesn't matter (to them) if it actually happens or not

well its not happening,

but then our government is all about smoke and mirrors
any one else know about the agreement nz made with the u.s after ww2?

we have to have a min of about 35% american media in our country
and i think its been raised since then,

i just really hope the nz government understands the dangers of a "mono culture"

but until then may all people
fight the good fight
and make beautiful music
even if the world cant hear it,

Yeah but didn't the NZ government just pump double the money into NZ music aaand make the radio stations play , what is it, 20% NZ music on all radio stations?
