Biggy ups to these guys for bringing some reggae to New Zealand. I love their song, "skankin'", it's so good. I'm a huge fan of reggae, and was brought up with it so this was great!!!!

I missed them when they played in Brisbane recently, very dark about it. Apparently they went off with local band Kaha. Looking forward to seeing them back here in the future though. I've been in Oz for almost 2 years - I'm from Wellington and I really miss kiwi music. Hope other Kiwi bands make it over this way.
Katchafire have brought Aotearoa regae to the mainstream...wihtout being mainstream, Katchafire play the longest and tightest Reggae set including many many Uncle Bob favourites and the maori party songs--3 hours in Paihea and 4 hours in Mt Maunganui-blissfull reggae, beuatiful music- -peace love and mung beans, so get some good Karma and support Aotearoa-'s finest.
a new student just gave me a copy of suicide- suicide on cd- wants to trade for 1 of my vinyl cpies- so im not really in the mood to support fake quarter assed crapshite music- sorry
I went to their gig tonight but they were sold out :( oh well I saved $25, plus I'm not that much of fan of theirs so its no biggie. Would have been a good show thou.
