In fact, many of the songs are pop-friendly and downright tuneful, including an acoustic version of Default’s "Deny," Wayne’s Slow Down" and Pacifier’s "Everything". The latter is quite a departure from Pacifier’s ‘80s and ‘90s output. Pacifier, you see, is actually the New Zealand metal band Shihad, which started out playing speed/thrash metal in the mid-‘80s before becoming more industrial-minded band in the ‘90s. And on "Everything," the former Shihad is much closer to Creed or Third Eye Blind than Ministry or Godflesh.
what do you guys think of the 'run' video? Personally i thought it was a bit poser-ish but then again they are focused on the states so...fuck it the music's all good and that's all that matters to me
Unsurprisingly, I think the video is god aweful-as is the song.
I thought 'comfort me' was going to be the worst moment of the record.
I stand corrected.
i like the video. more the techniques used than the concept.
in addition to this, i feel that pacifiers image is evolving. NOT starting up another Mike Hunt thing here, but it seems to me that - either supported or not by the record company - the band members are becoming more 'individual'.
for instance, toms mullet, phils afro, jons jerry seinfeld cut. i was considering this and thought that perhaps a more 'stand out/outrageous' look was what they are looking for to break the states. maybe im totally wrong, but can you really ignore phils hair for very long? thoughts if you wish....

Yeah especially since the guys hate guy and think they are one of the lamest bands in rock today. They shouldn't even be put next to Creed.
