I was driving the other day and turned on my radio and heard the song 'Betterman' by the John Butler Trio on the radio. These guys are from Australia - they play kinda bluesy roots music - and i got my sisters mate to buy their album from Aussie when she went there, coz i'd read about them in Rolling Stone. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard it on the radio and whether or not you liked it. (i heard it on the Generator in Hamilton, by the way...)

i brought their album (Three) 18 months ...
i brought their album (Three) 18 months or so ago in Sydney. They kinda jam out on alot of the songs, even got an instrumental thrown in. they're big on protesting the mining and deforestation etc along the same lines as Midnight Oil i guess, but yeah definately bluesy- he plays alot of slide geetar on the album. they've also got an EP before Three...anyway i hope they cross the ditch sometime soon 'cause they're bloody good!

yeah i got their album about then aswell...it's bloody awesome aye. it's been one of my favourite cd's since then. i was just so stoked to hear them releasing a song in NZ
