Nirvana "You Know Your Right"

People that heard do you like it?? I think its quite good.
Wonder if we'll hear the over version of it called "You've Got Know Right" which maybe Kurts anger towards Courtney?

Forums: The Bar,

go nirvana!

its ok

its ok

But nirvana ROCKS!!

sounds like complete shit to me, someone's trying to make some money

I heard the new Nirvana song "you know you're right on the radio the other day. It doesn't sound that good. Not compared to songs such as "Teen Spirit" and "In Bloom".

Yeah I heard it at a mates the other day...its alright I guess but not great.

I reckon it say more like their older 80s stuff

'say' should be 'sounds'

Yeah I like it.. Good song

Does anyone else think Nirvana are overrated shite?

Well I wouldn't call them shite, but they are over rated

how does one over-rate a band that changes the course of musical history?

easy the beatles

and elvis
sex pistols

:) you're such a cunt, i can't believe i have let you crash at my place for the last 10 fuckn days!!

its true i am a cunt.

No argument about the Pistols but I think the test of time has clearly shown that The Beatles and Elvis can in no way be described as over rated.

Christ on a fucking stick!! You've never been to Graceland, have you? That place just SCREAMS over-rated. On the tour I loved how they made sure to point out that, though Elvis never WROTE his own songs, he made sure to CHOOSE FOR HIMSELF the ones he would sing. King of rocknroll, my ass.

Maybe if I get fat and die of an overdose on the toilet, people will proclaim me the Queen of Midwestern Literature and treat my humble duplex like a shrine.

sure Nirvana changed rock music and made hair bogan rockers look like dorks. I mean i dont think the music or kurt is as good as the fanatics make out.

its all just my opinion, im just sick hearing about them.

Elvis is "rated" as the King of Rock and Roll. Who else even comes close to that title?

anyone who is a rock fan and thinks that the beatles are over rated should look at their c.d. collection and pretty much neaqrly all guitar based music in general and realise that it is all due to the beatles. from nirvana to the pixies to the vines to motley crue to pearl jam to w.a.s.p. to fucking everyone and everything in between. they changed everything. more than elvis ever couldve dreamed of doing. he opened some doors and started it but the beatles got on board a steam roller and flattened the shit out of everything.

i probably would have liked the song more in the day, but hey it's better then half the shit they play on the radio so i'm all for it.
oasis WERE over-rated, liam and noel should have died while they were ahead. Andoru quite likes the new album though, he tells me.

Yesterday, KROCK in New York City received a phone call from former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl where he talked about You Know You're Right. Among other things he noted that the musical part of the song was done in one take while Kurt did his vocals a couple of times. Dave was not playing on his usual drumset, but a very old one. Krist was not playing through a bass amp but a Fender twin guitar amp.

The song is really a demo, who knows if they were going to put it on their next album.
