When I put my last 14 points into songwriting, I got zilch improvement. Do you have to put in more than your score to improve or is it some kind of random thing or what? anyone know?

it did that to me heaps in the first version. song writing is REALLY hard to improve, i'd wait until you had a descent amount of points to spend before practising your song writing - and make sure you have points to use on rest, coz songwriting takes away alot of happiness and health.
