Day in and day out I am always left to wonder where people's voices have gone.
People bitch and moan but never do anything, myself included.
Businesses and governments continue unaware or under the assumption people are mindless slaves to their bidding. It is nice once and a while to see people do something even though it maybe a tad drastic.
ha ha ha, one of my flatmates just spent over 3 hours reading it and I am only up to the end of Week Three.
I have my doubts about its authenticity but then again stranger things have happened. Part of me wants to believe so bad yet the other is just waiting for the hammer to drop. Fingers crossed.
for some pointless amusement, try "porrasturvat: stair dismount". its a game where you push someone down a flight of stairs at different angles and in different positions so that it causes the most amount of damage. i found that giving my person a slightly upwards hard blow to the head sent them tumbling nicely.
not much point to the game, but laughing at the crumpled landing positions served as a nice distraction from my glandular fever :/
ahh... well i'm glad you wrote "...and stuff", or i would really have messed up your topic :P
how long did you have glandular fever for? i used to think it would be a really cruisey thing to have... you know, tired all the time, have to take weeks / months off to rest. wasn't till i threw up all over the A&E carpark and promply ended up in the emergency room because i couldn't swallow that i realised maybe its not going to be as relaxing as i had hoped.
whoa, that is bad. I was working at the time and felt faint, couldn't stand up, tried to keep working, wasn't going to happen. I had it for a while, quite a few weeks maybe over a month (heck it was a long time ago now, time is not an ideal perspective), it sucked. Didn't help that I had it close to Bursary exams as well.
ok I thought the DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD formats were just crazy fads that will disappear but it seems they have some strong backing. Is anyone here really keen on buying these?
this really bugs me, because claiming piracy of copyrighted music is one thing, but preventing the sales of independant artists is another. And in the long I really believe that labels in general are trying to squash this new economy.
this is mostly an ebay, whimpy cop-out though, but I need the rant above to start my day, aaaah...
one of the coolest bands around and one of my favs has broken up.
The Dismemberment Plan.
Yet another in the pile of "I'll never get to see them live".
gutted.
There's something singularly obvious about a band called The Dismemberment Plan deciding to break up. Probably they've been organising this very moment since they got together.
