Forums: The Bar,

i guess that means they wont be coming back to new zealand like they promised.

are you disappointed? any DP fans here?

I liked some of their songs

they were suprisingly good at the bdo!

good riddence to bad rubbish i have said it before i say it again.

dude thats a bit harsh!!

why do you know him?

No, but you don't have to make a comment "good riddence to bad rubbish"

why he made terrible pish music so........pish = rubbish so good riddence to bad rubbish see.

but that is in my eyes you know. just my opinion if someone said that about steve albini i would shoot them. That is if steve dies i doubt he will though

ha, ha you can always count on andoru for saying what we are all thinking.

i hope steve albini doesn't die! well not soon anyway. and you know andrew you are really setting yourself up for being shot by hoardes of rabid drowning pool fans there. but to be honest i don't really care about the guy from drowning pool either - a lot of people die, he just happens to be one of them. and i didn't know him, or like his music at all although possibly i would prefer a band break-up to actual death.

I like 2 of their songs, doesn't mean I'm fan.
It sounds like your glad he's dead, which is not a very nice thing to say.
Steve Albini, is just a producer right?? Know he was with Nirvana, but most people wouldn't know who he was anyway, same with Adam Casper

sounds like who is glad he died? i'm not certainly, just maybe slightly on the pity side of indifferant. but sure if you liked the band and stuff, its definately sad for you. (i'm not necessary talking about you tama drummer, just drowning pool fans in general). steve albini isn't just a producer! he was in big black, now he is in shellac. i'm not sure about the nirvana connection, i don't know that much about him to be honest. who is adam casper?

//sounds like who is glad he died?
Andoru

Steve Albini produced Nirvana's 'In Utero' album.
//who is adam casper?
He recorded some SoundGarden & Foo Fighters albums

//Steve Albini produced Nirvana's 'In Utero' album.
oh yeah? i've never heard that - have been told to several times though. kurt cobain - there's another rockstar death. intentional that time though. it would be interesting to see which dead rockstars made the biggest impact on people, like robyns scale below. i have to say ian curtis would be top on mine, the guy from drowning pool might be pretty low though.

I think I would be sadder to hear that one of The Wiggles had died.
I like The Wiggles

I saw an interview with him when he came over for BDO and he seemed like a nice enough guy. Not much rock star bullshit. On the rock star death continuum, I think I'm sadder than I was at Aaliyah's death, but not as sad as I was at Lisa Left-Eye's death.

Sounds like he hit the floor

oh shit!!!!!!:(

you are all fucken sad this dude died and you have no compassion even if you didnt know him, he still has a family and friends (THIS IS AIMED @ U ANDORU!)his music has got shit all to do with it

shut up and go listen to your wiggles cd dickhead

i don't know his family and friends either. and if one of the wiggles died, i really doubt you would care very much. you might even make fun of koe for caring. his music has everything to do with it - because we didn't know him, its the only reason we might have to care strongly about his death. i'd like to know if you are a drowning pool fan or not.

no in fact i am not a drowning pool fan
its just wrong that people go out of there way to diss a dead dude

I don't like Drowning pool's music at all but Dave Williams WAS a nice guy - I had a couple of drinks with him on the BDO and he was open and friendly to everyone. Actually quite exceptional given the scene he comes from and some of the people he was touring with encourage and cultivate extreme distance from other bands/nationalities.

I'm sad he's gone.

I'm a fan of Drowning Pool and i think it sucks he died at such a young age. I didn't get a chance to see them live but oh well. I still have the cd to blast.

Dave Williams R.I.P

Fuck all the haters!
