Is Havo rocking it up or am I missing the irony?

Last night twisted sister and motely crew(?), the week before he threw up his goats at waiuoru....

Forums: The Bar,

Yeah when I saw Twisted Sister I laugh so hard!!
Hair/glam bands are so funny

He's embracing his bogan glam rock roots. I mean, he can be a DJ as much as he likes, but no one's going to for get Push Push.

"Twisted Sister is ready for Noo Zeland, but is Noo Zealand ready for Twisted Sister?!"

so is he poking fun at it or is Havoc, ex metaller turned house dj and coverboy for the infamous 'RIP Rock' issue of remix, coming back to the fold?
... does it really mattter? I guess not but it intrigues me...

i accused him of changing teams a while ago, and he denied it - could never stop loving the rawk/fluff. Andy Dickson down here in Dunners is another ex metaller turned DJ, but a candle still burns in his heart for metal.

further proof - that episode, last series, where they let off fireworks and rated their explosiveness on a heavy metal music scale .. god that was funny. i'd hate to be the knightshade puha ...

i think Havoc & Jeremy are at their best when no one really notices they're there, or that there's a bit of backlash against them. they just do what they want, get away with it, and whoever wants to watches them.

you may be right there! i was dubious about this new series cos the last one seemed like same stuff all over again. i dunno if the jokes have changed or anything, but i'm really enjoying it again.

yeah i reckon that in the last few series, they have gone off the boil...... and it wasn't that the jokes were the same - i just reckon there were very few attempts at jokes made.

now mikey has scaled back his 'hey nz lets embrace our country it's great' routine a bit and they are doing more random stuff (newsboy running with tight jeans and a full mullet, hahaha) it's so much better!

I concur, I was prepared to farewell Havoc and News this season and never look back. (Like this is REALLY gonna be the LAST one anyway...) But I think after the shitty "Hawera" episode, they have really pulled their pants up and stopped sucking so much phallus. I think the highlights for me so far have been the "ARMY" interview and the "Twisted Sister" bit. Well done boys. I think ILUVTHECLEAN has hit it on the noggin really, they preform best when the chips are down. As for going back to his "Rock" roots, I doubt he ever left, I doubt he would ever clarify exactly where he stood on any issue without being misleading anyway so we may never know. I still think he is fat. And I think he is a wuss for getting beat up by steve that time, remember?

I am loving this season...the hawera episode was classic to a 'T'. They are rocking, what about the interview w/ the guy that catches trout?...love it. I think that the metal interludes are fantastic...it makes me laugh so bad!
Come on guys, how obviuos is it that Havoc wants to get back into the metlar image? Or perhaps he is over compensating for the house image he has created ~ Go figure!
There are so many metlar turned dj. take evan from dayone, who is now front boy w/ matt for concord dawn.
i think it is excellent. Because the majority of these guys still love their metal. they know where its at.
