So I'm watching M2 and there's this female presenter (not Jo, not Jane - the new one) currently doing the top 12. There's something not quite right about her.

She's attractive and has a lovely voice but she says um and ah a lot.

For example, if she were to say "Next up, at number 6 is "So Us Is This" by Blindspott.", it would come out as, "Next up, ah, at, ah, number 6 is, um "So Us Is, ah, This" by, um, Blindspott."

Ok, so that's a slight exaggeration, but she does um and ah so much that it seems like she's just someone who'd been grabbed off the street, thrown in front of the camera and told to introduce a video with no preparation at all. And I'm sure that's not the situation. Maybe she needs to rehearse more? Maybe some improvisational acting classes would help?

The other thing I've noticed about her (I wish I knew her name. The M2 web site doesn't appear to have her listed in the presenters section) is she doesn't seem to have much of an opinion about music. She seems to have only one mode of appreciation and that's very happy (she says "fantastic" a lot). It makes me long for the time Glenn called Linkin Park "Stinkin' Park".

I have this theory that she may be computer generated. Well, how possible is it to come back after the 8 Foot Sativa song that ends with these bombastic lyrics (Step up! Step up for 8 foot sativa!), and be totally uneffected by it, like it never even played?
