I can fully understand the reasoning behind the re-release of these albums to capitalize on increased air play higher profile, .....I mean I didn't want to buy navigatior untill I heard misty frequency and put it on the round to it list, so sored the bouns.... ie a slacker getting the reward, but it's still not fair.

I just brought SOAD album a few months back, god damn it!!
The same thing happen to me with the Foos & the Chili's, they had a extra CD after I brought.
But I know that the new Foo Fighters album 'One By One' will have a DVD added as well in October
When I go on a CD spending spree, I'll bye SOAD's first album plus some NZ CDs too!!
Funny thing, I was listening to them the other day, dad heard them and didn't like them. He reckons I will go crazy listening to that kind of music, guess he doesn't know me very well ;-)
I just got the SOAD bonus the other day, now I have two SOAD bonus CDs. I got the first album yonks ago with a bonus live track disc.
The live clips are terrible on the Toxicity DVD. The audio is dodgy and camera work bleh.
Can't wait for the album of songs that didn't make the Toxicity cut.
Yeah - they did that with the new Gomez CD as well - to coincide with their Australasian tour, their new CD, "In Our Gun", has been re-released with an extra disc full of b-sides. WTF?! I bought the album when it first came out, and I'm genuinely pissed-off. Oh, and I didn't go to the show last night - I sure as hell wanted to, but I was out of town. Anyone here go?
they did that with Incubus' Make Yourself, I bought it quite a while ago before they became really really popular here (I think "Pardon me" was just starting to get radioplay) and then they release it with the bonus australiasian tour disc because they came here. So of course, I now have 2 copies of Make Yourself. Oh well.
