Did everyone enjoy that Sabbath/Motorhead/Kiss gig at Indigo last night? That was live music like I was told about as a child.
Favourite moments: "Motherfuckin' Motherfucker" by the Bloody Souls. "Driver Better Beware" and Blacktop's last song. Dolf telling the crowd they're a "great bunch of good looking kids".
Worst bit - the two worst games of pool ever. Man I suck.

Tough choice though - 3 great bands at Indigo for $10 or Kenny Dope for $50 at Studio9. I've been told that he's a "great" house DJ.
I was torn but I'm sure that I made the right decision.

mofo mofo by the bloody souls, and in fact most of their set was inspirational. does everything that dude from hasslehoff do just sound amazing or what? the bassist had the best stage presence, cheeky, relaxed and rockin... and the drummer was subdued keith moon styles all over.
the datsuns performed with their mazing live show... harmonic still works the best for me, and highlight was dolf hanging upside down singing into the mic....

What a fucken awwwweeeeesome gig! Best ten bucks spent in a long time. The Welly crew were going for gold, best jump around I've had for ages. TLBT were fucken great, esp. 'Driver Better Beware'. Pip has the kind of rock snarl that would leave Kim Deal blushing. And Dolf swinging from the light rails - nice...
Highlight of the night: Dolf teasing the crowd by removing his shirt. What a ladykiller.
Lowlight of the night: Receiving a blood nose, 11 bruises and slight concussion in the mosh. Yowsa!

I saw Tadpoles summer tour, both ones, the "Wash" support one and the "Goodshirt" support. I saw "Seven Worlds Collide" and even THE EDGE "Summerjam", I saw "Supergroove" live about 29 times. THE DATSUNS are the GREATEST live band I have ever had the pleasure of pouring a bottle of water over my head in front of.
