"Roger sings the hits" - is it just a legend?

Hi,

I've heard of a compilation put out by Flying Nun, probably in the late 80s or early 90s, called Roger Sings the Hits (a reference to label owner Roger Shepherd).
I think it has covers of FN songs by other FN artists, including SJ Fits doing JPSE's "Flex".
I couldn't find any reference to it on the Flying Nun website, which lists all the FN releases.
Does anyone know if it really exists?
If so, any ideas where I can get a copy on CD (pref. online, but Auckland will do)
Thanks ...

Forums: NZ Music,

From memory it was cassette-only (er, not that I was around then); & is harder to find than hen's teeth.
(& one of the tracks - Bats covering LBGP's "I Don't Want You Anyway" is on the ". . . But I Can Write Songs Okay" Dunedin 3-cd historical compilation/whatever.)
(er, if anyone has a copy - I want it more than that guy, heh)

it was a cassette released for FNs 10th anniversary. limited to 500 and only sold at the gig at the powerstation. SJF doing doing jean-pail satre exp's"flex" and JPSE doing fetus productions "whats going on" are personal highlights.

ive got a couple of the mp3s, but not the whole album. it was put out in 1991 as the 10th year anniversary, and yes it was cassette only. i'd offer up what i have, but im not that willing to host flying nun stuff on my blog website... FN being part of a nasty corporate giant and all...
