does anyone know whats happened with ricky the drummer leaving canvas. i played with them at zeal on wednesday, and its gonna be pretty shite without ricky. he has so much energy and picks up their whole stage presence. he taught me hopw to play drums and for that i thank him. he will be sorely missed as part of the rock/pop trio that WAS Canvas and i hope he stays in Wellington

Ricky did not leave Canvas. He never said to the rest of the band that he was leaving. I'm not sure where this mind set comes from.
Canvas as a band are no longer. The members from Canvas are all doing thier own things. I could go into alot more detail on this. As for now believe what you want. All three people in the band agreed that playing together was not a good idea for personal reasons. No one left this band, the band itself for now has been left behind.
