u know what hype is ... it's praise on steroids = gross propaganda... shihad reeks of it - but somehow manages to live it down - cos they are at core a genuinely passionate harrd working rock and roll band

i only detect one word of hyperbole in that d4 sum-up from elmo (cheers elmo!)

and that's the word "totally" as in "totally unforgiving"

overall the d4 is being prased for their genuiine enthusiasm and passion - not hyped about it

look at the line "sometimes hitting the mark, sometimes not" that's frankly honest

and

"makes you want to be in a band. It's the low-rent discovery your parents are scared of you making. It has no reason or concept beyond the need to rock'n'roll. It's sleazy, dirty and totally unforgiving. Get it and become a fuck-up"
