You shouldn't ask strangers for a name for your band. You should think of something that has meaning to you & your bandmates & the music you play, not something that some random person thinks sounds cool. + the fact, you'll be lucky if someone suggests something serious.
I fully agree with you there Megaccino :) Your name can't be just random, it should mean something to you or there should be a reason for it. Isn't half the fun getting a name anyway??? :) lol

If it is so hard coming up with a name.....why don't you just call yourselves something like Untitled, or the No Names...ok so its not very original, but I also think you should come up with something that means something to you all.

In the end we called ourselves simultaneously dimented, but along the way we came up with immature resemblence, virtual insomnia and heaps of other cool stuff. See what u can cum up with.
My old band used to be called 'The Incision', then everyone else in the band voted for it too be changed and the bass player spent all day for ages jotting down random words put together on paper. But then i made something up in my head without wasting all that time, coming up with worthless names, in the end we called ourselves insolace..you can take any of these names if you want, that band is dissolved anyway.
try band name generators if you still need & want a random name... just do a yahoo search for band name generator, there's lots. The one @ mp3.com lets you choose a word to have in it too.
