A) you could risk $2000 on recording 1 song to get radio play, write and record some sell out pop song, get a wee bit of radio play and have no street cred, so no-one goes to your gigs.
it is not easy at all to get added to a radio playlist, so you may have $2000 down the drain.
B) Spend $2000 recording a phat as 1QA EP, release it, play some mean as live shows, get a following, tour, all the while trying to get a 1QA song on the radio. Then go and record again. Do it the way of the Datsun
The thing is that there have been soo many places that just give shit recordings so we thought we'd go and spend it all on one song and see the comparrison. The radio thing is not important because we aint gona change our music to suite the radio, but a good quality song accompanied by a good quality music video will be phat and fun. Ill tell u the shin dig when it gets to the crunch but u are welcome to come along to the demo recording next Sat if u want.

we should spark up a wellington youth band concert with 1qa and ejector and No Worse for Wear and 6th density and shit, give them like 1/2 an hour each and watch them rock. 1qa and ejector can pull the crowds and itll be good exposure for the less well known bands. BUT DONT INVITE MULLET!!!!!!
