//So for people on dial-up, I suggest you lobby your ISP for cheap broadband. It's a NZ based stream so it should be cheap for them too.

Forums: The Bar,

so how to start this ball rolling????

get everyone email thier isp.... write a stock email here so ppl can copy it to send.
get everyone phone thier isp.

Pick on one isp at a time..... this month its XTRA

just be a pain in the asre for them, they're makin loads of cash so they should be able to drop the price a little.

thanks ringing seems to work....well we will see
dial 0800289987,
then 2 for sales
then 2 for residential
ask about broad band, they will ask for phone number to check if already in area,
then when not available they will fill out a form saying that you would like it to available to you

Form email to xtra

After reading products page on this website I have some feed back for you
I live in....... detail city / suburb / town / RD number if out of town
I would like to know when Xtra is planning to make Broadband connection available in my area, I am an existing Xtra customer and would like to have full use of the internet through a better connection....
or keep what ever one is closest to the truth, delete other
I am not an xtra customer at this time but would think about changing ISP if you made Broadband available
Thank you

please check that you do not have broad band in you area by using link below

Yes, because the ISPs WON'T just delete every identical e-mail they receive after the first one...
Seriously, if people feel that strongly about it, they should phrase their comments in a non-generic way instead of just spamming someone. That won't help anything.

you make an extremely good point, I learner lobbier

you see there are really 2 isusses at hand
1. a lot of us don't have broad band available to connect to
2. it is bloody expensive if it is
so my letter and phone contact details are for getting it......which for me is the main issue, but my thought is if BB was widely available it would get cheeper????
I will leave it to someone elce to do the stuff for "pain in the asreing" them to make it cheeper
