Mine is the pronunciation of my real name.. no one can say it otherwise... People spell it meeka as well 'cause they either cant remember or can't be bothered remembering how to spell it right.. it's fine tho.. i spell it like that as well...

All previous attempts at using some sort of nickname online have always ended up with people thinking that I'm either a) a sexy vixen, b) a guy, or c) really gross.

So I stick with my real name. It's a lot easier.

I've been using my name for years on various newsgroups, letters to the editor etc, although very few people could make the connection to who I am. Here is how I once introduced myself:

i have an album of sabbath's called we sold our souls for rock & roll, it's really the song i like least... the name does still sound a bit poxy, but it was respectable enough. written honestly i mean. besides, fairies wear boots wouldn't fit in the box.

Mines pretty simple, and for people who know me on here, it'll make sense - Jay (my nick name) and H is the first letter of my last name. My real names Juliet, but you can't use that on the Net because you get freaks stalking you saying their your Romeo - blah. The only problem with this name is that people will frequently mistake you for a guy, but sometimes that's a good thing - then you don't get the freaky stalkers
