This is just a statement. I didn't know where else to put it. So please don't reply to this if you're a fan of Zed or something cos its not an attack at you or them. I am just saying that for once I was wrong about Duncan Greives reviewing.
But I want to say that althought I think Duncan Greive has got lots of negativity in his reviews, the one he has done for Real Groove this month on Zed is just classic.
I am assuming of course that it was a complete piss-take.

Duncan Greive's reviews i find are really hard to read, a mag for me is a lazy relaxing thing that i dont really want to concentrate on too much. he always seems to find the most difficult way of saying something, and uses words in his columns most people would use once a year. i often find myself reading things twice, to get the gist of it all
the zed review was quite funny though, some onme should put it in their forum, the scarcasim would probabally go unnoticed. hehe

I read some of that Zed gig review and yeah not really a review. I dunno, there are so many different ways to approach it, it isn't easy. Or maybe it is just difficult at times for me. If the gig doesn't cause a reaction good or bad sometimes all is left is a tangent, that is if you want to create something interesting.

Duncan Grieve's review are usually pretty funny. Not because he thinks they are but usually because he completely misses the point of what he's reviewing, although he doesn't know it. He's negative for negative's sake- often just tryin to prove how smart he is. He usually ends up illustrating how out of touch he is.
