Rant a'La Blink

WOW!

Yup. I guess most people are sick by now of hearing how amazing Camp A LOW HUM was. Well, I apologize for the following, its just that, well…with Real Groove magazine calling it "The best camping music festival of the summer" and with Dunedin's The Critic saying it was "The best festival you could never imagine" and with everybody who went declaring it to be the "best weekend of their lives"…well, I guess people who didn't go might want to see what the fuss was about.

I have put together the parties of the YEAR! To celebrate the announcement of camp 2008 and the screening of the movie from camp 2007!

For the South Island I'm bringing two of the hottest, most talked about performers on the international scene to town. The US's Yacht & Panther are going to make these shows incredibly special!! I can't say enough rad things about these guys, just check out there stuff and you'll see why I'm obsessed.

For the North Island I've convinced the So So Modern boys to play two more shows before they leave NZ. With these shows being their last two shows in NZ for 2007 they are bound to be special, but add to the mix that I've twisted their arms into once more putting on a So So Karaoke set, then its destined to be legendary! For those who missed the infamous So So Karaoke set at MVP bar in 2006. What happens is that anybody who wants can email the band with a song they want to sing. The boys pick their favourites and then you get on stage and perform it live with So So Modern as your backing band! If you want to get involved, email a kick ass song you want to cover to: sosomodernatgmaildotcom

Add to that the mega awesome Cut off Your Hands who are also doing both North Island shows, two of their last NZ shows in a longtime, and they are doing a special Cut Off Your Jukebox set of awesome covers. You can tell them your favourite song/s ever by other artists through their myspace page and maybe they'll play it just for you.
