I'm going to an Op Shop ball, run by expensive label store, Euphoria. Someone explain to me how that works!?! I don't get it, anyway, I'll be wearing op shop clothes, not Euphoria stuff. :P
Friday: Picnic by the river
Saturday: Buddhist temple for breakfast, Breakfast of Champions in the evening
Sunday: a day of rest, and maybe watching some Crusaders action
Monday: Off to the beach
Mmm, nice indeed.
Good to see the weather holding out. Glad I'm not stuck on a northern motorway though.
And just got some pleasure out of the Auckland rugby team: will miracles never cease! An added bonus to the long weekend. Maybe the 'canes can make it 3 from 3 for my favourite NZ S12 teams.
Haha, yes Megaccino, 6th form bites the big one...so glad thats over....but onward 7th form soldier!
Well, for me, its painting....then a bit more painting....then a bit of drinking, then painting with a hangover!! Fun Fun Fun with big fat old capital F's!!
Just be glad you aint taking seventh form art Megaccino....its very time consuming and you always smell like oil paint and turps.....you tend to get mistaken for an alcoholic...;)
But I might be able to sneak away to Whanga in a bach....anyone going there?
Awww, man I hate 6th form... Is 7th way better? All the other years were sooo cruisey & had no work & now I have, like, a million assignments due each week :(
I hate 6th form.....
A lot of my friends do art... So I've seen all the stressful lunches spent in the art block with all the other art ppls trying 2 catch up. & the complaining about expensive materials & the art dept. budget running out in 1st term cos everyone steals & the paper & the school gets $$ 2 spend on expensive sculptures but not on photocopying. Soooooo glad I quit art back in 4th form.
As much as I liked art & graphics, I'm 1) not very creative & 2) Not good @ those subjects.
+ theres the crazy alchoholic art teachers. Don't get me started on them....
Yeah, it's such a classic rumour... But ours WAS actually a wino. She recently left the school... A quote about her = "She's been here for nearly 40 years, but has she really BEEN here?"
New Art Teacher:"I found all these empty bottle up stairs... I assume these are props for you guys to draw."
Art Class:*bursts into laughter*
i wouldnt say 7th is easier.....its not as full on but still harder in the content of intelligence, and the teachers at our school try and ram as much as they can in the shortest space of time so that we have more time to study at the end of year....but no assignments for me....just essays on Shakespeare and a panel of art to do......nothing i cant handle.....
Our art teachers are pot heads.....one lives in Corglenn which is known for its drug dealers and the other lives up the Kauranga Valley and students say they've seen him nursing his plot, dont know about that one.....but they're both hippies with long hiar and very 'unique' clothing - real greenies.......But, our maths teacher definiatly does drugs, he's admitted it and talks about it with a guy in my form who also is a big smoker. One time Mr Mxt Teacher was asking My Friend how to make bongs outta Jim Beam 40 ounces......and Mr Mxt Teacher has gone over to Holland for the holidays, and we asked him if it was a stock up his supplies, and he said "Why, Of course!!"....so......
Hehehe, teahers are so funny. My friends form teacher bought them easter eggs, but then he ate one. In front of them. & then told them they couldnt have any 'cos there wasn't enough anymore, so he ate the rest in front of them. Soooo mean!
Yes! 6th Form is fucking gay. Especially with an incompetent bitch of a maths teacher and some sort of neo-nazi fascist physics teacher. Thank god I didn’t do Graphics either, as apparently there is fucking epic amounts of work for it.
Yep, many graphics ppl are dying of stress in my school.
So much for holidays, I have 4 assignments do to :(
U 6th form currently too Minuteman? We should start a club ;)
It's not that ancient, but still a fun memory...
Since my aunty & uncle own a dairy out in a country town, my cousies & I all go there to get ice creams & lollies. Last year, one cousin & I bought a 2L box of chocolate ice cream & sat outside in the sun eating it & dribbling it everywhere. And giggling like mad. All the locals who passed gave us funny looks & a few asked if we were skiers (since the town in on way to Mt Hutt)
It was so fun, theres nothing better than pigging out on boxes of ice cream w/ plastic spoons. I've done it @ the beach a few times too.
funny you should mention ice cream...im sitting here eating out of a tub of chocolate ice cream myself! but its ok cause its 98% fat free....lucky!
Another memory of my sister babysitting was at an earlier age of about 5 or so......we wouldnt do what she told us to so she ended up chasing my and my other sister round the house with a wooden rolling pin.....sounds like fun, but it was damn scary! i was almost crying.....mum never found out about that cause she treatened to hit me with it if i told mum.....she was actually quite mean..........*sniff*............i had a wicked wicked childhood.........
I'm the oldest & my mum didn't work when I was a kid so I was never babysat. I'm quite glad about that, I've heard so many bad stories.
Tho, when I babysat my bro (even tho he was 10-12 then!) He'd be so damn annoying. Like, I'd make the fatal mistake of feeding him chocolate & coke & he'd be hyperactive all night.
On easter... Stupid mum once put creme eggs under my pillow. Of course, they rolled out & I woke up covered in sticky stuff.
aha! yes. even if your 4th art teacher singles you out at the end of the year and says "noizy, I don't think you'll be taking art next year, do you?". and then when you've found solace in some alternative study, say computer studies, and then get to varsity, and get two E's for the entry level computing papers, don't let that put you off mucking around with PCs too. take if from one who knows...
Seriously Megaccino? what a cock! we call our 'form' class, "whanau" and it has a selection of students from each form, not just one form.....but i never go to it anymore...i just sit in the common room.....my whanau teacher is gay, as in homosexual and he's a chain smoker so everytime he comes into whanau he reeks....i never wanna be like that....yukky......you know, i think every person could write a book on their teachers......i mean, look at Ronald Dalh's book 'Boy', thats a great book and i bet everybodies childhood would be interesting to other people.....i mean god, i could write six books on mine....
I'll tell you one thing that happened once that i'll never forget even though i was six the time....my mum went out and left my,at the time, 13 year old sister babysitting.....when she told me to go to bed, i locked my self in the tiolet. After banging on the door repeatively for five minutes, she then literally kicked the door down. Mum came home that night to find my eldest sister holding my other 11 year old sister up by her throat to the sliding door and the tiolet door kicked in....needless to say she was never allowed to babysit again......all true
right you are.
but to avoid incidence, i've learnt to drive with my feet and have periodically memorised the roads.
changing gears and turning the page at the same time can be a bit of a hassle tho'.
lol lol lol X 10 to the power of 6
late saturday so ready for sunday morning coffee, last weeks took about 20 min of cut and paste this week waiting till after 12 when traffic slower so .... may be you best not wait up.... enjoy with easter eggs?
Awww, shuddup. I'm already shamed. Yeah, I'll be up bright & early to see it all.
