There has been alot of talk on the forums of late about musical snobbery..... well i missed the whole Shihad thing...... because i was far too mature to take any notice of a group of skinny kids from welly town... don't scream at me.... just take it as a lesson to keep your ears open to everything...
Any way I see the passion this band evokes in alot of you and I concluded that I need to take another look and as you have said they aren't on the radio that much.... where do i start?
Answer this question for me if some wanted to develope their knowlege of this band which Album which track/s should they start with?
uh yeah i like killjoy and the fish cd alot... so go with them.
BUT~ i was thinking.... perhaps you should get the blue light disco ep, because i think that is a great ep. really bridges the gap between the fish cd and the general electric.... which is quite cool....
Hmmm to tell you all the truth, i'm not big on churn. Like, i don't mind it but..... i am NEVER in the mood to listen to it...... and it's far too heavy. The lyrics could be a lot subtler too haha.... yeah i wouldn't go near churn, unless you like things a bit heavier.

there is alot of people who dont like the fish album, being all transitional and stuff, but i think they turned out some really good work on that album, ie tracks 1,2,4,5,8,9
BLD is cool too, agreed peaches i think it was the begining of the GE or the end of the fish (i always think AC/DC when i listen to that album)
but my all time fave is this live CD i have from BDO......cant beat them live.....no way!!!!
that live big day out cd is badassed brother!! we got that here too... luckily we have the set up and the nice neighbours to crank that shit loud.
live is always a pleasure to listen too... mistakes and all. gotta imagine it loud, for the obvious reasons... yeah thats a fucking good disc.
