Hey punters, I work for a local telly station, and we're tossing up the idea of starting a local music slot on the tv. The focus would be on local Wellington acts, and the material would be videos, live sets and interviews with these bands. 100% Kiwi music. The chance to get your material played on television.
The other focus of the program is to give a gig guide that highlights the coming attractions to the Capital. I saw Augustino and Pluto play an excellent gig to a meager crowd last week at Indigo, and thats a goddamn shame. Its a farce that excellent bands get not a lotta crowd support. If any bands, local or otherwise are touring, this show can be your hotspot - You come into the studio before the show, do an interview, we play your video clip and HOPEFULLY raise the awareness of gigs happening in Wellington.
