how many of us experienced it? i logged in at 7 this morning and nana and dust were the only two to have spoken it seemed. bloody great tho, i've been waiting for a live chat for ages!

about two seconds after i logged out, i thought the same as stefan - oh shit, while i'm at school some bastard is gonna come in and impersonate me. my solution to that would be a registered (ie have to use your password to register as yourself) chat room.

restricting it so guests couldn't come in without having a name/profile isn't really that bad (i can see it coming up as a complaint) because that's what you need to have to be able to post in the forums at present - let's keep the rules the same.

i was just thinking tho, it would be cool if the chat programme was quite simple, so as to not detract from the forums - ok that's a little pet fear of mine, i know it probably won't happen but hmmm i really don't want everyone deserting the forums for the chat.

for those that weren't lucky enough to be there last nite/this morning, it consisted of a dialogue box and a message box on the side saying who had entered and left and when. not a very good explanation i know, and i probably missed stuff (i was too busy typing stuff to myself with a big cheesy grin) but that's the basics i think.

basically i think this should remain the same, but possibly have the seperate forums (general, artists etc) in different chat rooms to spread out the load and/or provide different sorts of convos to suit people's mood.

when can we expect that link back again dusty?

i dont know if it was just me..but some of my messages weren't going through..it was pretty annoying
