Just there's a coupla topics that I'd really like to put out of reach of crawlers - one of them appeared in the 'last viewed' a weekend ago, & then got into the 'popular' list cos people were clicking out of curiosity. Chur.
Righto, probably you're already aware of this particular problem: usually when I've posted a comment (that is, on clicking the "post comment" button), the page takes so long to load that I just give up and close the page, & go re-open it from the forums. Invariably my comment's been posted fine, and when I go to a different page I get the message saying "user Heather has earned 1 points!".
i just got a long wait on firefox/xp doing a wiki thing, but in the artist list the entry was there very quickly. last night on firefox/linux the site wouldn't load at all but that is probably unrelated?
Mainly I just brought up the ages-to-post thing because I suspected that's why we get dup topics/classifieds fairly frequently. BTW, I'm using firefox on xp.
& while I have your attention, quite regularly in the evenings, I can't load the site at all. I get an error saying that the max_num_users has been reached for the sql database, or something like that.
Also, I did finally get my 1 points. After the follow-up comment I got two sets of 1 points!
Also, my boyfriend's a drupal junkie and he told me the caching's useless for logged-in users, but it's been improved considerably in the latest version. I think. Yah. (Other than that he raves about it. A lot. Probably more than is healthy)
Also, I just had some home-made bircher muesli and it was really yum.
