Awesome!
four blogs wasn't nearly enough.
So are you expecting us to
So are you expecting us to just talk about NZ music?
How do you see it being different from posting new forum topics about stuff that interests us?
Site looks heaps cooler, btw, and lots of good functions going on already.

Excellent question, and one I was hoping someone would raise so we could discuss. The main thing is NZM wants to be providing tools that people use. I'm hoping we can open up more features, try some things out and keep rolling with the ones that 'stick' with people around these parts.
And so, I reckon make Blog Posts about whatever one wants... some starters:
- Post about any music, local international.
- Posts featuring MP3 playlists - you can link to files hosted online.
- Posts about gigs, concerts, reviews
- Posts about anything...
Soon we will introduce categories for the blogs, as demand grows.
Longer term we could develop a different 'experience' around blogs - providing stronger connections to authors other blog posts, and responding comments etc. This would make it somewhat different to forums. Generally I think Forums tend to invite a communal opinion or conversation, whereas a blog tends to be a stronger more definitive expression from the original author.
