In an unprecedented display of solidarity, “the best young songwriter in New Zealand today,”* Samuel Flynn Scott, and “probably New Zealand’s greatest modern songwriter,”** Lawrence Arabia are heading out on the road in April and performing each others songs , in a band, together!

WHY?
Because Scott has received insider information that DOC is secretly breeding Haast’s Eagle, Jurassic Park style, on a lushly enforested offshore island. Knowing his friend Arabia’s fondness for extinct species, he convinced him to return from his London exile to form what could only be described as The Ultimate New Zealand Supergroup, a veritable mighty totara to the emaciated lancewood sapling of “Finn Runga Dobbyn 2000.” Samuel and Lawrence will be joined on the road by the Duo Orchestra of Craig Terris (Cassette) and Tom Callwood (Little Bushmen). Splendid.

With the all-powerful spirit of Kiwi Music behind them, Samuel Flynn Scott and Lawrence Arabia have unilaterally begun Phase Six of Kiwi Music’s expansion into all spheres of life, the purpose of which is to get the beardy denizens of DOC to reveal their dirty little secret: The Haast Eagle Breeding Programme.
