Black Boned Angel, The Dukes of Leisure, The Stumps and The Postures at San Francisco Bath House, Saturday 7th April

Radioactive 89fm Presents... On Saturday the 7th of April, The San
Francisco Bath House will be host to a night of noise, rock, drones
and metal. This is 13 busy Wellington region musicians and artists
coming together (in fellowship and with a large P.A. and for only
$10!) to provide an experience of rock which is entrancing,
challenging, crushing and fun… celebrating experimentation into what
music and sound can do to mind and body states.

First up, The Postures… Jeremy Nolan, Michael Harvey and Michael Havell.
Disco/doom band. With rolling rhythms, piercing guitars, and a punk
delivery, these guys can engulf you in the groove.

Next, The Stumps… Stephen Clover, James Kirk and Anthony Milton.
Psychedelic improv noise band. Each Stumps performance is an
experiment, pushing the accepted limits of a 3 piece rock band… and
the energy and feel generated by each one is quite special.

Following them, The Dukes of Leisure… Jeremy Nolan, Ian Hicks, George
Chadwick, Scott Common, Beverly Green and Daryl Green.
Post Rock band. Huge spaces of quiet becoming walls of volume and
melody to sweep you away.

And finally, Black Boned Angel… Campbell Kneale, James Kirk, Jules Desmond.
Drone/Ambient/Metal band. These dark servants of volume sculpt
enormous walls of the slowest metal imaginable… their trance which
they induce is dark and scary… whilst being oddly comforting.

This is an amazing opportunity to see some of Wellington's great rock
experimenters in one of Wellington's great venues… not to be missed.
