the band I'm about to recommend aren't kiwi, but this place has been rather quiet of late, so thought I'd give people something to listen to. I don't normally plug bands that have been in the studio as such, but these guys were in for a couple of weeks, and I liked what they were doing, they're from California .... velocity, keep an ear out for these guys in the US I think they'll be a slow burner so may take awhile to hear anything they've done here ... that said what with the fickle way of the music world you maynot hear of them other than this post ... the songs on their myspace site are not the completed ones they did here but they give an small idea of what they're about .. astronaut is one of my faves ... hope link works ...

reply to my own post .. :-) oh well, Just thought I'd let those who are interested know that the band have put up a few of the recordings they've done .. the full versions done here, plus the orchestral backing track to the song Astronaut, which stands out as a great peice on it's own .. oh and it's named after the road the studio's on ... somehow I think it'll be a long way off before this has the same effect as Abbey road had on EMI ( abbey road studios ).

Yes, that's the important bit .. us and a few others still linger, I tend to pop on have a read and that's about it now a days .. wonder what the new website's going to be like ... I've been told by a few mates I should get a my space site, but not too interested in that at the mo, I'd no idea what to put on it, this suites me for the time being .. even if it is abit of a ghost town for now.
