I'm travelling to NZ in May this year, and every foreign country I visit I like to view a local metal show, see how each country differs in style etc.
Can anyone point me to a website community or such regarding NZ metal?
Or if there isn't one, name some decent NZ bands I can checkout when I'm over there? I'll be seeing DragonForce when they tour in May should be tops!!
I've been searching n found a few NZ metal bands, but so far the only one thats caught my fancy is 8 Foot Sativa (sound well quality)

hahaha thats what happened to the cookie monster, seriously fucked up :) Maybe check out whats going on at hysteria, I'm not really a big fan of metal but personally would go more for that dragonforce powermetal thing than some freak grunting from his epiglotus, I'm guessing you're much the same as you're here for dragonforce?
I can think of a few 'rock' bands who get 'epic' tagged onto their bios over here but off the top of my head can't think of any real epic metal acts
