Clearly the Skelton/Jones case is a dogs breakfast and yes there is genuine public interest but surely the case custody history should have been left out till after the kidnapping trials?
Not to say it would change the verdict but crikey, they got to be dreaming if they think they can find a jury that hasn't heard the nitty gritty and made up their mind on the "rights and wrongs".

The judgements make pretty spectacular ...
The judgements make pretty spectacular reading. Kind of like BSA's tragi-comic decisions. Except not so comic. They are kind of darkly amusing though.
I particularly like this quote "There comes a point where the Court must give a name to what is happening before it and act."
They don't actually give it a name, but if you read between the lines, it's there.
