Merry Christmas

Here's wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas. Whether you're a pagan or a Christian, a Muslim or Hindu, an atheist or agnostic, a spiritual being or a dark void of angst, have a good one. I hope that everyone has a family to go to, be it blood relations or a group of friends that have become family for you. I hope that you all feel close, at some point, to feeling a sort of happiness or even just contentment. Be close to those you love you, if only for a day. And if you can't be close to them, think about them and know that someone, somewhere, loves you. It's a good thing. Peace out.

Forums: The Bar,

you know what I mean

yes , I think I do.

and to you and yours the sentiment as well.
and as foal's Xmas tip for JG , try the Undercurrent's EP... i think you would dig it.

cheers for that, foal. I'm doing the last of my Xmas shopping (well all of it, really) today, so I'll look out for it.

Yes, right back to you too Jackie, hope you and everyone here have a wonderful Christmas and an even better new year.

Christmas is a time to purchase items and exchange them for other purchased items
A time to pretend to be happy
For most people, a welcome break from work
A time to squirm uncomfortably when anything that's actually to do Christianity is mentioned
Merry Christmas

I had a bloody good Christmas. Presents-wise I bought nothing, gave nothing, received nothing. Had a boozy lunch with friends and went to a mysterious place called the Christon (this is like a katakana take on "Christian") Cafe. Japanese take on what a church should be like, but a restaurant and bar designed as a church. Completely sacriligeous. A friend of mine ordered beer & campari off the menu. Hm.
