Download music.... the legal way

Just read an article about an online music subsription service just launched today.

Pressplay.com -- which offers songs from Sony, EMI and Universal artists, is the second fee-based service released by the five major record labels.

MusicNet.com -- run by EMI, Warner and BMG -- launched in December.

And napster is beta testing it's pay service too. Napster is part owned (totally owned?) by Bertelsmann which owns BMG. Last I heard BMG were still involved in a lawsuit against Napster. Is that still on?

it all sounds very corporaty smortraty to me... I think I'll wait till its all up and running for a while.
If the price is right and the quality is good I'll probably use it... CD stores are still good places to find music though
