"Gidday" from Nova Scotia, Canada fellow NZ Music lovers ... I have been living in Canada for 2 years and wondered what the heck had happened in NZ music? (anyone remember Supergroove?) Atleast with Napster I could get old Chills and Tall Dwarf songs. But, don't give Canadian music a hard time, there's more to Canadian Music than BNL and Bryan Adams, eh? Try The Tea Party, Wide Mouth Mason, Our Lady Peace ... even Great Big Sea!

Some great bands... well in my opinion, are Sloan, Hayden, The Flashing Lights, Bran Van 3000.... the list goes on. Sloan are AWESOME though! check them out!

Us Canadians have other great artists like Econoline Crush, Moist and, of course, the Tragically Hip. But we need to hear more Kiwi artists up here. Shihad, Stellar* and Fur Patrol all kick ass, but the best are Tadpole. I bought their CD online from Sounds and played it for some of my friends here in Ottawa, and everyone loved them! NZ Music kicks ass! I want more!

Until Canuckland gets a musical showcase site as great as this one for NZ, Canada will continue to be overshadowed by the United States, and the only Canadian artists that will get rocognized internationally, will be the crappy ones that sign with American record labels (hi Nelly Furtado, how are ya liking your career? If you want to be American please don't tell people you are from Canada... pfftt.. Nelly Retardo)
