Other than Groovy which is the biggest and possibly best you have (outside of the chains)

On K Raod:

Lowpass - La Gonda Arcade, for breaks and other dance styles
Play - St Kevins Arcade, loads of dance styles plus a good range of second hand, jazz, reggae, some rock/indie etc (great little store)
Criminal - Symonds St (dance only)
Beat Merchants - Victoria St (?), Hip hop, reggae, dance
DMC - High St, dance and a bit of hip hop
Marbecks - Queens Arcade, Queen St, no vinyl but awesome slections and seriously knowledgable staff
Conch - Ponsonby Road, hip hop, jazz, soul, funk, dance. If this is ya bent a awesome store run by the very knowledgable Cian
Muzikquarium (?) - not sure where, Dominion Rd(?), dunno if this store is till around, rock/indie mainly second hand

Other than that can't thin fo any more sorry

Auckland is so not the wonderful record shoppers paradise it once was :(

for a quick easy fix, Groovy is the best choice for vinyl, central and all that stuff, though if going there its not too far to play (5-10 min walk at most)

I've always wished we had a slowboat up here :)
