k the strongest rumour i have heard is Tool... And thats all i can add really. I had a look at the bdo forum a few weeks back and they had a few others but cant remember. But yeah, tool has been the one ive heard heaps of which would be absolutely sick imo...
Tool, RHCP, Peeping Tom, Muse, Audioslave, Eagles of Death Metal, Fu Manchu, Bloc Party, Icehouse, The Strokes, Primus, The Who, Daft Punk, Trivium.......... oh, and Innominado!! lol
Ah yes the annual "who's coming to BDO?" question!
ACDC always feature high on the rumour mill. I'll start another one and state that Led Zep will reform (apart from John Bonham of course - not sure who would try and fill those shoes!) and play next year.
Along with Tool, The Killers, Snow Patrol, Dashboard Confessional, Jet, MCR....
I say bring back Sweetwaters. Hippies, sex under the stars, and great, great musicians all yours for three days. Nothing like it. Well, possibly Nambassa, but that's gone for good too. Boo hiss.
I spent the latter half of this summer travelling around and working at various folk/world music festivals, and the people, music, and weather are the best I've ever experienced.
Also, at what was probably my favourite festival, this NZ act who I'd never heard of played and did poi on the main stage just before Bedouin Soundclash, who were headlining. Her name was Mihirangi, and true to form, she was off her nut Kiwi-style at the volunteer after-party. Sweetness.

I don't think the Who would do BDO - more likley do their own show or a mission estate type thing.
I think the only 2 bands that would force me to come to the BDO would be the Pixies or Modest Mouse.
