Didn't see it, but hopefully it was better than Studentville. That was a truly mediocre piece of television. The probably only had 10 minutes worth of material, but left in all the chaff to make it up to half an hour.

speaking of which, I made a rare delve into commerical reality tv the other night and watched 'Fear Factor'.
What a crap crap show. Not only did it seem like they were having ads every 5 minutes, but the actual fear factor was about nil. Hang from a rope being held by your partner while hanging 10 feet over a lake while dangling from a helicopter? yaaaawn. Splash around in some smelly water and then eat some fish guts. come on.
The only good thing about the show was that the punky looking couple (dubbed the "Smellies", due to their rejection of all body odour neutralising products, were leading the competition.
I saw studentville.. goes to show that the ones who really should be put down are them southern islanders.. Auckland is actually very very decent.. Just a pack of naughty monkeys as I see it. Reminds me of those ads by Chanel 1 news.. where they ask "Is Auckland Bashing needed".. NO WAY.. we rule.

did they specifically only pick out students from the South Island? I was under the impression that a decent proportion of Otago Uni students (assuming this thing was shot in Dunedin) were from the North Island.

what i meant really was.. Southern more than Aucklanders.. sense now.. hope so..
and thnx.. but its true in my eyes & feelings that everyones gone from this site.. they only come when they feel like it.. but im baaaaack.. i like it here.. makes me feel nice and new zealandy..
